Code Blue Campaign to End Immunity of UN Peacekeepers is launched!

By Jan Kubiac, Subcomittee on Human Trafficking

There is a new campaign by Aids-Free World called Code Blue that is devoted to ending immunity for UN Peacekeepers who have allegations of abuse or trafficking. (See the links below.)

For many of us, The Whistleblower (2011), was our first introduction to human trafficking and the shocking realization that Peacekeepers, who were clearly involved in these crimes, were given immunity.  Aids-Free World is giving us an opportunity to join Code Blue to continue this campaign to end immunity of Peacekeepers throughout the world.

Human Trafficking is so well hidden that most people don't realize that there is more slavery in the world today than at any time in history…including the United States.  For more information about the Human Trafficking Subcommittee contact Jan Kubiac.
